One of the most dangerous problems today is drivers using cell phones; we have all seen what it happening. You know when you're following one of these people on the road, and a momentary lapse in attention is all it takes to kill or injure another person.
One case I experienced involved a driver who was actively engaged on Facebook while driving. She turned into the path of highway traffic, and the driver who hit her was ejected from his vehicle. The woman fled the scene and was later located by DPS because she left her cell phone in the car.
There are many other distractions that can cause driving accidents. Day dreaming, picking something up from the floorboard, or tending to a child are simple activities that can cause a serious wreck.
